One thing is for certain, Mark loves his cars. And cars of all scales - 1:18. 1:24 and 1:1! Not being mechanically
inclined, Mark prefers to work on cars he can handle - the ones made out of plastic and glue (no not Yugos).
Above all model work - Mark particularily likes to enhance die cast cars to give them a more realistic look than
they come right out of the box. Various techniques include bending, painting, melting, scratching and, well...
breaking. Mark ends up with some genuinely one-of-a-kind pieces, like this General Lee in 1:18 scale. The final
product looks considerably more like something that would have been seen on the set of “The Dukes of Hazzard”
than a factory produced toy.
Marks toy car collection is vast - easily filling his “playroom” at home. Everything from the Batmobile to NASCARS
adorn the wall - some stock, and some Mark Osborne “modified”.
